Recommended Conversion Settings
The AutoSys and TWS schedulers have the following recommended instructions when defining Conversion Settings:
Defining AutoSys Conversion Settings
This procedure describes the recommended way to define the Conversion Settings when the data source is the AutoSys scheduler.
Begin
- 
                                                        From the Conversion Tool, in the Conversion Settings window, in the General tab in the Job Type Conversion area, select Convert all jobs to Control-M command line jobs 
- 
                                                        If you have Control-M for Advanced File Transfer, do one of the following: - 
                                                                Select AFT in the File Watcher Type.

                                                                Use the Ctmfw utility that matches AutoSys to set it.

Defining TWS Conversion Settings
This procedure describes the recommended way to define the Conversion Settings when the data source is the TWS scheduler.
Begin
- 
                                                        From the Conversion Tool, in the Conversion Settings window, in the General tab in the Job Type Conversion area, select Convert all jobs to Control-M command line jobs. 
- 
                                                        From the Additional TWS Rules tab, select the following: - 
                                                                In the General field, select Convert OPENs statements to Control-M File Watcher.

                                                                In the Scheduling Conversion field, select 'Exclude' RBC's (Control-M V8 FP1 or later). The calenders are converted to Rule-Based calendars with logical names as much as possible. To have the schedules displayed differently in the Planning Domain in Control-M, use the Field Editor on the Application and Sub_Application fields to experiment with different views after conversion.
